15 Foot Sunflower

Branstool Orchards is always keeping me busy with summer projects. The most recent piece they commissioned, was this giant sunflower. Their space has SO many amazing and beautiful things to explore.

Fifteen32 Social

The new favorite neighborhood sports bar in the Bethel Road area of Columbus, OH. They asked for some neon work to match the modern dive bar theme they already had going. The skyline is part of the patio doorway and the logo is on the stage, where they have live music most days of the week!

Change The Game

This client was searching for a way to get a neon sign onto the curved, wooden wall at her new sports bar in downtown Columbus, OH. Through layering several coats of paint, I was able to create a similar ‘glowing’ effect. These powerful words are dripping down onto the Columbus skyline.

Creative Freedom

After working on the map at Junction in Hilliard, the owners gave me freedom(with some direction) to create a colorful abstract piece on the back of their building. Tying together their interest in geometric shapes, and my passion for watercolor and painting plants, this whimsical piece was born.

Mountain Range Nursery

The mountain loving parents-to-be that commissioned this piece had an example photo they wanted me to work off of for this project. With some slight variation in shapes, I was able to transform their little one’s room into a new adventure space.

Columbus Map

The Junction, a new multidimensional work space in Hilliard, OH, requested a Columbus community themed work for their entry area. Together we decided to create a topographical road map onto one of their walls. This piece was created using a projector, pencils, and careful brushwork.

District West

One of the top inclusive entertainment bars in downtown Columbus, Ohio, District West invites everyone to enjoy their unique atmosphere. With an abstract concept in mind and a lot of creative freedom, I helped to transform this bathroom into a more modern space.

Lettuce Work

Just outside of New Albany, Ohio, Lettuce Work is a non-profit nursery dedicated to helping young adults with autism make a successful transition from high school into the workplace. They requested that I create a piece for the back of their new potting bench the summer of 2021. Pulling from the colors and some of the flowers already growing in their space, I painted this mural.

Branstool Orchards

This beautiful Johnstown, Ohio Apple and Peach Orchard trusted me with the side of their barn over the summer of 2020. With a list of items to include, this is the imagery I created. The background was created from photos taken around the orchard, with the farmer and his pup, Jack, making their way down the gravel drive. Branstool also has a sunflower field along with their rows of fruit trees. This mural includes postable photo opportunities where customers can stand next to the barn and ‘blow dandelions’ or have ‘butterfly wings.’

2020 Art

During the 2020 protests, I was given the opportunity to quickly create artwork on some of the boarded establishments downtown in Columbus, OH. During a moment of darkness and division, I was honored to help transform some of the area’s energy into something more positive. With my helpful friends, I was able to bring the phrase “Stronger Together” along with repeated fists in all skin tones to each of these short north walls.

Sells Mural

Before this area of Columbus was called Clintonville(recently changed to Clinton Township), it was Sellsville. Sells - because the Sells brothers once occupied this area with their circus. Leroy and Drew Sells built a beautiful show including these larger than life animals. The Sells Brothers Circus is a part of this community’s history. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to create something commemorating them. Public art brings us together.

This work lives at 967 Goodale Blvd, Columbus, OH.

Zaftig Brewery - Italian Village

Zaftig opened their second location in 2019 in the Columbus, Ohio Brewery District of the Short North. I was given the opportunity to enhance and modernize the space by creating graphic imagery with bold colors. On the first wall I created cartoon-style hops and barley plants, which are among the main ingredients of Zaftig’s craft beer. The second wall is a representation of the Columbus Skyline. And the ceiling completes the space with its whimsical clouds, and hidden mascot, Hops the cat.

This work lives in the Short North Zaftig location, Columbus, OH.

PM Title - Interior Design

For this assignment, I was given complete design freedom to create a modern and inviting lounge area for real estate clients to enjoy. All furniture and decorative purchases were made by me; along with all artwork hanging on the walls.

This work lives in the PM Title Grandview, OH office.

UAOH - Point Tavern

Point Tavern, in the Upper Arlington area of Columbus, requested a silhouette painting of people spelling out ‘UAOH’ - Upper Arlington, Ohio. This mural takes the patio space to the next level and creates a photo opportunity for its patrons.

CBUS- Gallery Hop

Corso Ventures’ Pint House participates in the Columbus, Ohio Gallery Hop each month. They bring in a new artist to do a live painting in their space during the event, and the painting remains on display until the next month. For my piece, I used hands as my subject to create the letters ‘CBUS’ (a popular phrase used by locals to shorten the word ‘Columbus’).

Eat Your Heart Out - Urban Scrawl

Just after college I had the opportunity to participate in Urban Scrawl(a Street Art Festival in Columbus, OH). For this piece, I used a drawing as my reference and gave it a true ‘Eat Your Heart Out’ spin, and painted the ‘heart’ as a cheesy pizza.

This piece was sold for charity along with most other pieces from the event.

Mutualism In Nature - High Street

Thinking about community and its need for diversity and inclusion, I created my first mural using the relationship of mutualism in nature. With the subject matter being flowers and bees, we see both of these living things need each other to survive. And by using color to represent different skin tones or races, we show that everyone plays a part in this community and need each other to work together.

This piece lives across from OSU Campus, in Columbus, OH.
